Repay Our Debts: Bank Staff Demands Former Minister!

She comes from one of the big political families. Her mother and father served as legislators and to take forward the legacy of her parents, she ventured into electoral polls and became a Minister. However, things changed rapidly and she has been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons including allegations of threatening others.
Yet again she was in the headlines for the wrong reasons as bank staff held a protest in front of her residence demanding the clearance of debts. This raised many eyeballs as she earlier served as the Minister.
The ex-Minister is none other than Bhuma Akhila Priya, daughter of Bhuma Nagi Reddy and Shobha Nagi Reddy. A few years back Bhuma Nagi Reddy started Jagat Dairy by taking a loan from Andhra Bank. When he was alive he used to pay the interest and cleared a part of the loan.
However, things changed upside down after Nagi Reddy's demise. No one from the family paid the interest and the amount had reached around Rs 18 crores. Seeing this, the bank staff have made a few requests to Bhuma Akhila Priya to clear the doubts.
But the debts were not cleared. Having got vexed by this, the bank staff staged a protest demanding Bhuma Akhila Priya pay the debts. The placards they held asked Bhuma Akhila Priya to repay all the bank dues and save the economy.
