Researchers In Italy Asserts First COVID-19 Vaccine In The World

Going into details, the tests conducted at the Spallanzani Hospital of Rome, the researchers have found out that the vaccine produced antibodies in rats and said that the antibodies can work effectively on the human cells too.
Luigi Aurisicchio, the CEO of Takis, the firm developing the vaccine termed this development as the biggest step in finding a vaccine for the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccine will be tested on humans after summer season likely.
"According to the Spallanzani Hospital, as far as we know we are the first in the world so far to have demonstrated neutralisation of the coronavirus by a vaccine. We expect this to happen in humans too," Luigi Aurisicchio said.
Talking about the positive cases of COVID-19 in Italy stood at 98,467 while 213,013 patients managed to recover from the virus and got discharged from the virus accordingly. 29,315 lives were claimed so far in Italy due to the pandemic.
