Revanth readying up a new team of DCC chiefs

Telangana Congress sources say that its new chief Revanth Reddy will soon undertake a visit of all the districts in the state. Only after completing this tour will Revanth Reddy reconstitute the district congress committees. Sources say that Revanth Reddy is looking for young leaders to head the DCCs.
Sources say that the Congress is likely to take up the issue of unemployment among the youth as the main weapon. It wants this issue to be highlighted among the youth. The TPCC will organise several agitational programmes on this issue. For this, Revanth feels a younger team is needed. Old and outmoded leadership will not be in a position to inspire the youths, he feels, Hence he is looking for leaders who look and think young. Sources say Revanth already has a list of leaders in his mind and he wants to promote them in future.
He is trying to analyse the relative strengths and weaknesses of the DCC aspirants. Insiders say that Revanth Reddy wants to do away with the practice of appointing the DCC chiefs from Gandhi Bhavan. He wants to reach out, discuss with them and then appoint the leaders on the basis of their positives.
Revanth Reddy is likely to begin his tour of the districts with Nirmal on July 12. To take wind out of Revanth’s sail, KCR has announced that several jobs would soon be notified. He said as many as 52000 jobs would be notified. However, the Revanth is planning to highlight the discrepancies in the notifications and take the government to task. As of now, planning is on to ensure that these tours become huge successes. Crowd mobilisation is also being taken care of.
