Will Revanth Reddy Form A New Regional Party?
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Dec 2018 4:14 AM GMTIs Revanth Reddy planning to quit the Congress Party, of which he is the working president in Telangana? Is he planning to launch a new regional party in Telangana and fight KCR? Does he feel that there is no use working in the Congress Party?
After a serious defeat at his home burrough of Kodangal, firebrand young leader Revanth Reddy is thoroughly dejected with the Congress. He strongly feels that Congress has let him down seriously. He feels he is not allowed to have a free hand and was forced to face hurdles at every step. The Congress would not and cannot fight the TRS and he strongly feels that he can never work again with the Congress.
Revanth Reddy is said to have indicated to his close followers that he cannot make any progress while being in the Congress Party. He feels he will have to work very hard and fight for another five to ten years alone to defeat the TRS. He feels he should take up regional issues and take on KCR head on. It is likely that Revanth Reddy might announce a new party in a couple of months and take up a state-wide yatra against the TRS, sources close to Revanth say.
If Revanth Reddy forms a new party, he would have the dubious distinction of becoming the only politician who left two parties even after being their working president. He was TDP working president when he joined the Congress. Even in the Congress, he is a working president.
