Kodangal Congress Candidate Revanth Reddy was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday after he tried to provoke the people of constituency with the bandh call against KCR's Praja Ashirwada Sabha. Visuals of Police taking Revanth Reddy into custody forcibly has gone viral.
Hyderabad High Court reacted seriously over the arrest of Revanth Reddy. Justice found fault with the way they handled the MLA Candidate and sought a detailed report on this matter. Public Prosecutor informed the Court that bandh call given by Revanth might lead to untoward incidents. Then, HC questioned, 'What's wrong if someone gives bandh call? Is there no police force to prevent/control violence?'.
Subsequently, Telangana Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar ordered DGP to release the Congress Leader immediately. The firebrand leader was shifted to Kodangal from Jedcherla Police Training Camp with huge security after the end of KCR's public meeting.
Revanth Reddy is likely to make an explosive speech within short period. He might come all guns blazing at the TRS Government and KCR in particular.
