Drugs Case: Why Akun Sabharwal goes on leave?

Excise & Enforcement Director Akun Sabharwal, the head of Special Investigation Team (SIT) which is investigating the drug racket case, has gone on leave now.
TDP Working President Revanth Reddy alleged Akun Sabharwal was sent on leave only to save few Film Personalities who have close relations with influential people in TRS Government. 'Why Akun Sabharwal is going on leave at this crucial juncture? This is a clear indication of pressure mounted on him,' he opined.
Revanth Reddy demanded Telangana Government to cancel Akun Sabharwal's leave and permit him to take part in the ongoing probe.
Akun Sabharwal will be on leave from July 16th to 27th. He claimed to be going on leave for personal reasons and ruled out any pressure from government over the drug racket issue.
