The pubs and restaurants often cause issues for the public who stay nearby with loud music and heavy traffic jams. To counter this, the Telangana High Court earlier issued orders which say that music cannot be played in pubs loudly. After seeing that a few pubs are not following this, the Hyderabad cops are looking for such establishments and shutting them.

A few days back, the popular Air Live bar and Restaurant in Gachibowli was raided and other establishments were asked to strictly follow the no music rule from 10 PM to 6 AM. The cops cited the High Court's order while giving the directives.

Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma who is an alcohol lover and sees everything from a different lens did not like what the cops said. Taking to Twitter RGV asked if Hyderabad city was under Taliban rule. He tagged KTR, Hyd Police, and the state government and asked to cancel the imposed restrictions on playing music.

In his typical style, RGV said that the imposition of rules is nothing but an insult to the youth and the government. Having said that, the filmmaker urged the government to not take the Taliban route in imposing rules.

However, the ace filmmaker gave a logical reason for opposing the no music rule. Citing the traffic as a big reason, Ram Gopal Varma said that it is a big journey to reach Pub as one has to reach home in traffic and get fresh up, and drive back to the pub and by the time he reached here it would be 10 and the party has to run with no music.

"Please understand that by the time one comes back home from work, gets freshened up ,dresses up and drives through back breaking traffic to reach a pub it will be nearly 10 P M and then no music," Ram Gopal Varma said on Twitter.

"Sir, #KCR @KTRTRS and @CPHydCity While your intentions are respected I think it's insulting to the youth for the government to have a talibanish outlook towards what they think is right and wrong in terms of the youth just having a good time #HyderabadTaliban," he added.
