Actress Rhea Chakraborty, an accused in Sushant Singh Rajput death case, moved the Bombay High Court to quash the petition filed by the actor's sisters seeking directives to quash the FIR against them.
In her petition, Rhea Chakraborty told the Court that the allegations against Priyanka Singh and Meetu Singh, Sushant Singh's sisters are serious and asked the Court to quash the FIR.
Priyanka Singh and Meetu Singh are facing charges of forging and procuring false medical prescriptions for his brother, Sushant Singh in this case.
Satish Maneshinde, counsel who represented Rhea Chakraborty told the High Court that, the duo forged a medical prescription to help the actor to medicines which were banned under the NDPS Act.
In the affidavit, the actress said to find out if Sushant Singh Rajput used the banned medicines, which are believed to have led to the actor's death or deteriorated his mental health.
