1 Month for Penalty System: Helmet scare!

Telangana Police has introduced the Penalty Point System on August 1st this year to curb the traffic violations in Hyderabad. By Thursday, One Month has been completed for this new system and the results have been disclosed.
As many as 27,613 Motorists have lost a point each for not wearing Helmet. Lack of helmet was the Top Violation in the First Month. While 1,854 Riders have lost two points, 274 Riders lose three points for traffic violations.
Cops noticed the change in mindset of people after the introduction of Penalty Point System. More number of Two-Wheeler Riders are wearing helmets and not many people are daring to violate traffic norms.
License of the Person who attains over 12 points will be cancelled. In case if he/she was caught riding vehicle after the cancellation of license, Then they will have to serve the Jail Term.
People complain they weren't able to get the information about their penalty points on the Traffic Police Website. Whereas, Cops assure Commuters can check their penalty points very soon using the Hyderabad Traffic Police Website.
