River Tragedy: Bodies of four students recovered

Minister K. Tarakarama Rao said they received information that the authorities in Himachal recovered the bodies. A team headed by Telangna Home Minister along with BR Meena, Principal Secretary (Revenue) and Kartikeyan, Superintendent of Police, Grey Hounds, to Himachal Pradesh were sent to take stock of the situation.
More than 60 students and faculty members were on an excursion to the state.Some of them were getting themselves photographed on the banks of the river when they were reportedly washed away as the flow in the river suddenly increased.
Relatives of some students sat on protest at the college premises at Bachupalli on the city outskirts, alleging negligence in providing them information.The parents entered into heated arguments with the college officials, demanding immediate action to fly them to Himachal Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the AP government too is making efforts to bring back the bodybags. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has also offered to send the parents of the missing students to Himachal by a special flight.
Otherside state Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has ordered a probe and ordered the suspension of erring resident engineer of the hydropower project being run by the state electricity board. A case of negligence has been registered.
