After the central government gave a nod to sell the liquor in the country, a massive crowd can be seen outside the liquor outlets throughout the day. At almost all the liquor outlets, even stretched up to about one kilometre distance queues during the peak hours.

By looking these long queue's, a 31-year-old computer engineer has built a robot which would stand in long queues and buy liquor for him.

Karthik Velayutham, an innovator from Coimbatore said that the robot is made to create awareness among the people on social distancing during this pandemic time. It took two days and Rs 3,000 to build this machine.

He said that the Robo can be operated from anywhere in the world using the internet. Video and voice call facilities are built in the Robo, so that, the creator can interact with people using them. At present, the Robo can carry up to 30 kg of weight, and it has a backup power of six to seven hours.

The inventor of this Robo also said that it can be used in the hospitals to dispatch medicines without personally interacting with the patients.
