Robot kills 24-Year-old in India

A person was killed by a robot at at the Industrial Model Township (IMT) Manesar in Gurgaon, Haryana.
Ramji Lal is a native of Unnao in Uttar Pradesh. He has been working for the auto ancillary company 'SKH Metals' since the past one-and-a-half year and is part of the welding team. The 24-Year-Old came too close to the Robot, that's pre-programmed to weld metal sheets, while adjusting a metal steel which is unstuck. Unfortunately, Robotic Arm with welding sticks pierced his abdomen and he died on the spot.
A case has been registered and cops are looking at the CCTV footage to get a clear picture of the accident. Both the company management and contractor who hired the victim were booked for causing death due to negligence.
Similar Robotic accident happened on June 29th this year. A worker at a Volkswagen factory Germany was killed by a Robot in a similar manner.
