Rohit Sharma continues his winning streak as Captain

The cricket governing body in India, the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) had increased star player Rohit Sharma's stature in the cricket team and made him the skipper. He was recently announced as the white-ball captain by the BCCI.
As his first outing as the full-time captain, India locked horns with the West Indies and crushed the team in the ODI series with 3 nil. Taking forward the success streak, India had defeated West Indies in the first T20.
In a nail-biting thriller, India emerged victorious in the T20 and took the lead with two matches left. Indian bowlers had managed to restrict the West Indies for 157 giving India a small target of 158.
Openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan gave a good start for the team. After a quick 40, Rohit Sharma lost his wicket. In the end, Surya Kumar Yadav and Venkatesh Iyer played crucial knocks and took India towards victory.
Ravi Bishnoi led the Indian bowling attack as he picked 2 wickets for 17. He got a perfect start for his international career. He was well supported by other bowlers Harshal Patel (2/37), Yuzvendra Chahal (1/34), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/31), and Deepak Chahar (1/28)
