There has been no stopping for skipper Rohit Sharma. He is recording one after the other whitewashes. After ODI and T20, Rohit Sharma took the Men in Blue to the whitewash win against the Island nation Sri Lanka. Under his leadership, India defeated Sri Lanka with a stunning margin of 238 runs.
Chasing a mammoth target, Sri Lanka did not get the ideal start with the batsmen losing the early wickets. Sri Lanka skipper Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis made a valuable contribution with the bat. However, that could not help Sri Lanka win the match. Except for the duo, no other Sri Lankan batsman had shined.
