First Indian To Score 4 Centuries In A World Cup
Rohit Sharma added another feather to his cap. The Opener is now the only Indian to have scored four centuries in a single World Cup.

Earlier, Sourav Ganguly used to hold the record of most centuries by an Indian in World Cup. He managed to score three tons in the 2003 World Cup. But now, Rohit Sharma created history by making four hundreds even before the completion of league stage in the ongoing World Cup. He equalled Kumar Sangakkara's record of four centuries in a World Cup.

In Today's match against Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma's century helped India post a challenging total of 314 runs.

Rohit Sharma is now only next to Sachin Tendulkar when it comes to most runs scored in a single World Cup. Sachin scored 673 runs in 2003 World Cup, 523 runs in 1996 World Cup and 482 runs in 2011 World Cup. Rohit is the only other Indian to make 500-plus runs in a World Cup.

In 2019 World Cup, Rohit Sharma is currently the top scorer (544 runs). While Aussie opener David Warner made 516 runs, Australia skipper Finch stood at 3rd spot with 504 runs.
