Indian batsman Rohit Sharma popularly known as Hit Man has made one more unique record by scoring a ton in the second test against the English test on Saturday. Rohit Sharma reached his seventh test century.

The Indian innings has not started well. Young batsman Shubman Gill and skipper Virat Kohli were dismissed for a duck. Cheteshwar Pujara too went early by adding 21 to his personal score.

With his seventh century, Rohit Sharma became the first player to score centuries against four countries in all three formats. He slammed centuries against Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, and England in ODI, T20, and Test formats.

Along making scoring his first Test century in 2021, Rohit Sharma made a record of scoring the first seven centuries on Indian soil. This record was previously held by former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin, who has six centuries.

Rohit Sharma also became the first cricketer to hit a double century of international sixes in India. He achieved the record by hitting a six of England player Moeen Ali.

Rohit Sharma also holds the record of scoring the highest centuries by an Indian batsman. Rohit has four Test tons in the World Test Championship. He is only after Australian player Marnus Labuschagne with five Test centuries
