All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah are examples of this. They could not be a part of the T20 World Cup due to injuries and team India paid the price for this.

Everyone felt that Rohit Sharma can grab the catch and will send Anamul to the pavilion. But he dropped the catch. As if that was not enough Rohit Sharma sustained an injury. His thumb was hurt and blood came out of his injury.
Rohit Sharma was rushed to the nearby hospital facility for the required treatment. After leaving the field he was taken to the hospital and underwent some scans. The cricket governing body in India, the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) shared an update on his injury.
