Rohith Vemula's Mother Radhika alleges Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani lied in Parliament during the heated discussion on the suicide of the research scholar in HCU.
Pointing out that letters from HRD Minister branded Students as anti-national and extremist, Radhika demand Smriti Irani to explain on what grounds she made such serious accusation against her son.
Rohith Vemula's Friend Prashant claimed press meet was convened to expose the lies/false statements of Smriti Irani in Parliament. He accused the HRD Minister of doing so only to divert the whole issue.
Smriti Irani told in Parliament that Rohit Vemula doesn't intend to blame anyone for his death and Opposition Parties were using the episode for political mileage.
