YSR Congress MLA RK Roja alleged Governments of Telugu States and Intelligence Wing has completely failed in preventing Drugs Culture. She opined Film Celebs have been targeted to save the big shots involved in the drugs mafia.
Roja attacked few Media Houses which have been defaming Film Personalities with baseless speculations just for the sake of TRPs. 'Lives of Film Celebs are like glass building which could be broken with just stone pelting. Even if the Celebs obtain clean chit in future, The building once broken can't be rebuilt. So many big shots have been behind drugs mafia. There will be no use if branches were targeted by sparing the tree. At least now, SIT Officials need to stop publicity stunts & nab influential people involved in the drug racket. We would appreciate them if they could do so,' said the Legislator.
Excise Department kept saying there is no intention to target Film Industry. Akun Sabharwal clarified Film Personalities were questioned based on the clues found during the interrogation of Calvin & other Drug Peddlers. Still, Few Celebs continued to allege Industry is being targeted to save somebody.
