Row over Smriti Irani education takes a new turn

Prime minister Narendra Modi offering Union Human Resource Development Ministry to Smriti Irani has triggered a controversy as many felt she is unfit to handle such a high-profile post with poor educational qualification.
Now, The controversy has taken a new turn with contradictory declarations made by Smriti Irani in the affidavits filed by her during 2004 and 2014 Polls.
In 2004 Affidavit while contesting from Delhi's Chandni Chowk, Smriti Irani mentioned her educational qualification as Bachelor of Arts, 1996 (Delhi University).
In 2014 Affidavit while contesting from UP's Amethi, Smriti Irani mentioned her educational qualification as Bachelor of Commerce Part-1 from School of Open Learning (Correspondence), 1994 (Delhi University).
However, Modi's Government attributed the contradictory declarations to Typing error. Smriti Irani is yet to react on this issue!
