The much-talked-about arrest issue of rebel MP Raghurama Krishna Raju, aka RRR, is proving to be a big headache for the Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

As a big blow to the government, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has served contempt notices. The Court asked, why the orders issued by the court were not followed and found fault with the delay in submission of the medical report.

Hearing the petition filed by the advocates representing RRR, the High Court slammed the government for failing to implement the orders issued by the High Court and Magistrate court.

“When the orders were issued to submit the orders by 12 PM, why the medical board report was not submitted by 6 PM. Why where was a delay in implementing the previous orders,” High Court asked.

Why the Government and CID officers failed to implement the orders, even after the order copy was issued by 11 PM, the Court asked. The Court issued directives to serve Suo Moto notices to the state government.

RRR's case has reached the Supreme Court too. Hearing a case filed by the MP alleging that he was tortured by the cops, the SC ordered that RRR should be examined at the military hospital in Secunderabad. Till the next hearing, the MP should be at the military hospital, the SC said.
