A reward of Rs 10 lakh was offered for information leading to the arrest of Burhan Muzaffar Wani. Who is this Burhan?
Burhan Muzaffar Wani who is from a wealthy family in Kashmir joined terror group Hizbul Mujahideen at the age of 15 after his brother was allegedly assaulted by the Indian Army in 2010. He is commonly seen in a lot of militant photos which has gone viral on Facebook in the recent past.
The 21-Year-Old is said to be a Charismatic Leader and Social Media expert. He played a key role in motivating around 60 educated youth in Kashmir to become militants in the past 6 months. Being aware of the power of Social Media, He has been releasing a video every other day glorifying militants with his strong speeches.
Early this year, One of the brothers of Burhan was killed by Army when he tried to meet him in the Tral forests.
