Are Telangana Polls Most Costliest?

Never been before Money played such crucial role in any of the general elections happened in Telangana. Police and IT Officials had collectively seized Rs 137 crore until Thursday. That's close to Rs 50 crore more than the cash seized during 2014 Elections.
Actually, Amount seized in Telangana in the past one month is more than the cash seized in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh out together. While Rs 29 crore were seized in Madhya Pradesh, Rs 35 crore were seized in Rajasthan. In Chhattisgarh, Rs 20 crore cash has been seized.
As much as Rs 153 crore were seized in United AP during 2014 Polls. Which is around 45 percent of the money seized all over the country (Rs 331 core). And now, Rs 137 crore were seized in Telangana alone.
Close to Rs 400 crore were seized during 2016 Tamil Nadu Assembly Polls. In Pulivendula and Nandyal by-elections, Over Rs 200 crore each were spent by the Ruling Parties. That's a record in itself!
Analysts say, Amount seized by the Police and IT Sleuths is only 5-10 percent of the total money candidates spent to bribe the voters. You can only imagine how worse the situation would be in 2019 AP Elections.
