Rs 2,000 Note auctioned for Rs 1 Lakh

New Currency Notes with religious significance have been earning lakhs for few people. Especially, Muslims consider the number 786 as auspicious.
Vijay who works as a sweeper in Lal Ghat Housing Board of Bhopal went to ATM for cash. Soon after withdrawal, He noticed that Rs 2,000 in his hand have a serial number with religious significance. The last three numbers on his note - 786. So, He placed the new Rs 2,000 note on eBay for auction and also shared the picture of it on WhatsApp. The response has been very good as expected by Vijay. A Guy from Indore offered Rs 1 lakh for Rs 2,000 note and even sent a cheque.
Similar auctions were reported few weeks earlier. Rs 2,000 currency notes starting with number 786 have been sold out for Rs 1.51 lakh.
