Ruling YCP To Field These Candidates In MLC Elections!

The Election commission earlier issued the notification for the polls. As the elections are slated for commencement in a few weeks, the ruling YSRCP announced its candidates.
The ruling party made sure that it gives good importance to various communities. ST, BC, and OC candidates were given importance in this. The candidates for Local Authorities Constituencies, MLA Quota, and Governor Quota were announced. It appears that the ruling party did a big exercise before announcing the final list of candidates for the MLC seats under different quotas.

The details mentioned in the election schedule says that the candidates can file the nominations by the 23rd of February as that is the last date. Once the nominations are received, they will be scrutinized on February 24.
Once the nominations are scrutinized the candidates will be allowed to withdraw the nominations till the 27th of this month. The elections are slated for commencement on the 13th of next month.
The votes that were polled in the elections will be counted on the 16th of next month and the elections will be completed before March 21st.
Advisor to the Andhra Pradesh Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy announced the list addressing the media. He said that the government is focused on empowering all the communities and ST and BC candidates are given importance. Sajjala even drew a comparison between the current government and the previous Telugu Desam Party government.
Talking about the current government, Sajjala said that YCP allotted around 698 percent of seats to BC, SC, and ST and the majority of members are from the communities in the Legislative council.
