Ruling YSRCP MLC Challa Ramakrishna Reddy Succumbs to Covid-19

One more leader was added to the list after ruling YSRCP MLC Challa Ramakrishna Reddy breathed his last battling the pandemic while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
The MLC has contacted the Coronavirus and got admitted to Hyderabad Apollo Hospital on the 13th of December. Since then, the MLC has been on ventilator support.
However, the treatment didn't help the MLC and he breathed his last breath during the early hours of Friday. His funeral is likely to be held tomorrow in his home town.
The MLC has a political career of over three decades. He won as a legislator in 1983. He has worked in TDP and Congress
He won Kovelakuntla Assembly elections for two consecutive terms in 1999 and 2004 on a Congress ticket. In the 2009 elections, he lost the seat to PRP candidate Katasani Ramireddy.
Later, he has shifted his loyalties to the TDP party and joined the party in 2014. He served as AP Civil Supplies Corporation Chairman during the regime of the previous TDP government. Before the 2019 elections, he joined the YSRCP. He was later made MLC.
