Positive Cases Of COVID-19 Surpassed 87,000 In Russia

Leaving everyone in a deep shock, Russia surpassed China in terms of positive cases of COVID 19 with more than 87,000 cases. Sadly the lockdown measures did not work for Russia.
When India imposed a nationwide lockdown, Russia too started imposing such rules to restrict the public from gathering so that the virus is not spread further in the country.
Everything changed upside down in five weeks and Russia dethroned China in the toll of the positive cases with reporting more than 87,000 and claiming 794 deaths so far which is quite scary.
It has been widely reported that 6,198 fresh cases of COVID 19 were reported in Russia on Monday alone taking the toll of the positive cases to 87,147, while the official confirmation of this is awaited.
Russia also closed its border with China and followed many measures and sadly all these measures didn't pay off for the country. Even the lockdown measures were also followed strictly.
"we would need to consider a step by- tep cancellation of restrictions on certain companies...operations," Prime Minister Mikhail Mishushin said.
