Russia To Approve Second Coronavirus Vaccine

After launching the first vaccine for Covid-19, Russia is all set to approve its second virus vaccine on October 15.
Russia became the first country in the world to officially launch a coronavirus vaccine 'Sputnik V' in August. Notably, the very first doses were administered to President Vladimir Putin's daughter. Now, surprising the other countries, it is planning to approve its second vaccine this week.
The new coronavirus vaccine was developed by the Vector State Resort Center of Virology and Biotechnology. Initial clinical trials of the vaccine were recently completed. The second phase of human trials is expected to commence between November and December in which 30,000 volunteers are expected to participate.
