In his Farewell test, Sachin Tendulkar has achieved an unbelievable feat which gives strength to the statement 'He is the true son of Mother India'.
In the first innings of India, Sachin has scored an impressive 74 runs to take the team to a commendable position. With this, his test career's grand total sands at 15847 runs. Notably, It is India's Independence Date (15/8/47).
In the First Innings, India posted a grand total of 495 runs in response to West Indies scorecard of 182 all out. This gives a massive lead of 314 for the hosts.
West Indies were 43/3 in their second innings by the end of 2nd Day's play. Powerful hitter Chris Gayle is still in the crease and he contributed just 6 runs from the 31 balls he faced in the 2nd Innings.
