None other than Sachin Tendulkar faced a question on the comparison between the two players. Mumbai boy Sachin Tendulkar recently appeared in a show that was hosted by renowned host Graham Bensinger. During the show, Sachin faced a few interesting questions.
When he was asked to pick the best player between him and Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar indirectly put an end to the comparison and said he would like to have both the players in a team. “How about having both of us in one team?" Sachin Tendulkar said.
Despite retiring from international cricket in 2013 Sachin Tendulkar remains the leading run-scorer across the formats with 34357 runs. Sachin's career had lasted for more than two decades.
The total runs include 15,900 runs in the longer format and 18,400 runs in the 50-over format. He played only one international T20. Sachin Tendulkar became the first player to reach the double hundred mark in the ODIs. The record remained intact till Virender Sehwag broke the record of highest individual score in ODIs with a score of 2019. Later, Hitman Rohit Sharma broke the record. His score of 264 is the current record of the highest ODI individual score.
