Infosys appoints New CEO & Managing Director

IT giant Infosys Today appointed Salil S Parekh as its new CEO and Managing Director.
Mr.Parekh is currently an Executive Board Member of Capgemini. He will take over as Infosys new boss on January 2nd next year.
Infosys Interim CEO & MD UB Pravin Rao will step down in January. He will continue as Chief Operation Officer & Director of the company.
Chairman of Infosys Nandan Nilekani opined Salil S Parekh have a three decades of experience in the IT Industry. He believes the ability of Parekh to execute business turnarounds and making acquisitions successfully would benefit the company.
Salil S Parekh holds Masters in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and Bachelor of Technology degree in Aeronautical Engineering from IIT Bombay. Looks like, He is the one who could bring the 2nd Largest IT Firm in India on the right track after the shocking exit of Vishal Sikka.
