Samantha Not Happy With Comments On Her Dressing!

Star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is never out of news. She is like a magnet who pulls the paparazzi towards her. Whatever she does becomes a hot topic whether it is in a good way or a bad way. Recently, Samantha did a shoot for a beverage company and glamour show shocked many.
Her choice of dressing for 'Critics Choice Awards' raised many eyebrows as the 'Shaakunthalam' actress raised the heat in a black-green dress in which she looked stunning. The deep plunging neckline however drew a lot of attention and some of the people questioned on the internet about her indulging in heavy skin show lately.
Samantha is visibly hurt by the harsh comments and decided to give a fitting reply. The Chennai girl posted a story which said, "As a woman, I bear firsthand knowledge of what it means to be judged. We judge women based on what they wear, their race, education, social standing, appearance, skin tone and the list goes on and on. Making snap judgements about a person simply based on the clothes they wear is quite literally the easiest thing one can do."
She added, "Now that we're in the year 2022 – can we finally stop judging a woman based on the hemlines & necklines she adorns and focus instead on bettering ourselves? Turning that judgement inward and training it on ones own self is evolution! Projecting our ideals on someone else never did anyone any good… let's gently rewrite the way we measure and understand a person."
This is not the first time that the media and netizens are all over a heroine's dressing. Many big stars like Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and others faced this kind of criticism over their dressing.
There are a few who are claiming that Samantha is trying to exploit the situation and gain sympathy. A netizen wrote, "Back then Deepika Padukone wore heavy plunging neckline dress and when a leading newspaper wrote that her 'cle*vage' is awesome, she made a huge campaign on it by blasting the newspaper. That way she rose to fame and it looks like Samantha is repeating the same."
