Why Sania Mirza demanded Chartered Flight?

Sania Mirza justified her demand for a private jet on grounds of tight schedule and long commercial flights to Bhopal.
Reports of Sania Mirza making unacceptable demands to grace the annual sports awards hosted by Madhya Pradesh Government stirred a huge controversy. The list of demands include a chartered flight and Rs 75,000 worth make-up kit.
As the media reports were damaging her reputation, The agency which is managing Sania Mirza has issued a statement to clarify few allegations. As events in Goa and Bhopal are scheduled to take place on the same day (November 28th, 2015), Its practically impossible for Sania Mirza to be present for both of them as the travelling time between them when preferred commercial flights is around 7 hours. Hence, The agency has asked for a private flight to make sure Sania attends Bhopal event after Goa.
The statement reads, 'The practical impossibility of getting a popular celebrity to be present in two different corners of the country within a short span of time sometimes has to be tackled in this unusual manner and we are disappointed at the distasteful, damaging comments being floated against Miss Mirza by certain sections'.
