Sania Mirza's Husband Calls It Quits

After Zaheer Khan and Virender Sehwag another noted cricketer call it quits. Hyderabadi tennis sensation Sania Mirza's husband and Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik announced his retirement from Test cricket. Malik confirmed the news on social micro-blogging site Twitter.
"I have decided to retire from Test Cricket, will post my retirement blog soon. Please remember me in your Duas, love you all & thank you "
Malik said that he wanted to vacate the place for youngsters and also expressed his willingness to play the 2019 World Cup.
Shoaib Malik made a spectacular comeback into the Pakistani Test squad after five years. In the first Test of the on-going three-match series, Malik slammed 245 runs against England. But since then he has made very low scores 0, two, seven, 38 and duck in the remaining five innings of the series, prompting him to call it a day.Malik was married to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza in 2010, a wedding widely publicised across Pakistan and India.
Malik has played 35 Tests for Pakistan where he has scored 1898 runs at an average of 35.14.
He scores three centuries and eight half-centuries. He has so far taken 29 wickets, with his best figures of 4-33 coming on Tuesday against England in Sharjah.
