Sania Mirza's shocking remarks on Gender Inequality

While explaining the hardships she has to face in India as a sportswoman, Sania Mirza commented, "Its difficult to be a Sania Mirza in this country. I think a lot of controversies that I had faced in my career was because I am woman. Had I been a man, I could have avoided some of the controversies".
The Hyderabadi sensation opined a cultural change is required for opening doors for more women to come into sports in India. She stated Union Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal is supporting women sports and that will improve the situation. She appealed Media which has the biggest voice to take the responsibility for a change.
