Sanjay Raut's wife Received Summons From ED Today!

Varsha Raut received a summons from the ED in connection with the PMC Bank money laundering case, under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
Looking at the case, Sanjay Raut's wife has taken a loan of 5 lakh from the wife of Praveen Raut. Praveen Raut is was earlier arrested in the PMC scam case and released later on a bail.
It is said that Varsha Raut has paid back the money she took as a loan. However, the ED which is investigating the transactions in the PMC scam summoned the MP's wife.
News Agency ANI quoted Sanjay Raut as saying, the way the central agency targeted a woman is a cowardly act. He said they won't fear anyone and they have submitted the required papers to the agency.
Several leaders from Maharashtra found fault with the ED issuing summons to the MP’s wife and alleged that the central agencies in the country were being misused for political purposes.
