Sankranthi Bonanza for Government employees in Telangana

Ahead of the Sankranthi festival, the CM is said to have signed a file that reduces the minimum service of employees to two years from the previous three years to get promoted.
As a Sankranthi bonanza for the government employees in the state, Chief Minister KCR issued directives to the Chief Secretary, Somesh Kumar, IAS to see that the promotion process is completed by January-end.
It is said that in the review meeting held with the key officials, the Chief Minister directed the CS to complete the compassionate employment within a week, while the process to fill the vacant posts will be started from February.
The decision taken by the Telangana Chief Minister will benefit not less than 25,000 employees who are rendering their serving in various departments across the state.
