Sasikala bribed Jail officers with more than 2 crores!

V.K. Sasikala, who is popularly known as Chinnamma, has been sent to jail due to her illegal acquisitions but the political master manipulator seems to have not learned her lessons yet. Sasikala who is a close associate to late, J.Jayalalitha, Ex-Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has been convicted in the illegal acquisitions case and has been sent to Pappana Agrahara Jail.

Karnataka Government have publicised that Sasikala was denied any special privileges like TV and separate room before. Many thought she must be learning from her mistakes but due to the way she tried to hijack the investigation and become CM of Tamil Nadu, many doubted if she can ever understand the implications of her actions.

Well, as the news reports go, No, Sasikala has not learnt anything and in fact the doubts of those who predicted she could be trying to manipulate from the jail are turning out to be true. DIG of Prisons, D Roopa has given a detailed six page letter, in which she explained the exclusive 'VIP' treatment that Sasikala is receiving in Pappana Jail.

She said in the letter, that Sasikala has offered bribes of 2 crores to the Jail officers and got a separate Kitchen for her food. Also, any member of the jail can bribe the officers and get whatever they please in Pappana Jail, she mentioned.

Along with special privileges, Sasikala is running the Jail on her terms and she has shown no sign of remorse according to that letter. While D. Roopa stands by her words her boss Director General of Prisons, HN Satayanarayana Rao refuted her claims in the letter.
