Sasikala gets VIP Treatment in Jail

RTI Activist Narsimha Murthy alleges AIADMK General Secretary VK Sasikala Natarajan who was convicted in Rs 66.65 crore illegal assets case has been receiving VIP Treatment in Parappana Agrahara Prison in Bengaluru.
Mr.Murthy points out: 'As per Jail Rules, Only Visitors will be allowed to meet a Prisoner per Month. In Sasikala's Case, 19 Visitors met her within 31 Days. The total number of visits during this period is 14. Sasikala's Nephew TTV Dinakaran, Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker Thambidurai and Advocates are among the visitors'.
The number of Mulaqats increased after O Panneerselvam's Faction staked claim of AIADMK's Two-Leaf Election Symbol. EC has frozen the party symbol and allotted different symbols for both the rival camp ahead of RK Nagar by-poll.
Jail Authorities have denied all the privileges (Home Cooked Food, Mineral Water, Cot, Mattresses, Attached Bathroom and Table Fan) sought by Sasikala. They, however, choose to oblige the requests of Chinnamma when it comes to Mulaqats.
