Sasikala's journey to Chennai from Bangalore cost nearly Rs 200 crore!

The expelled All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader, close aide of former CM J Jayalalithaa, VK Sasikala has reached her residence in Chennai on Tuesday morning.
She took a 23-hour long journey from the IT Capital Bengaluru to Chennai. Sasikala aka Chinnamma received a dream welcome at Chennai upon her arrival.
It has been widely reported that Sasikala’s journey cost is nearly Rs 200 crores, which is over 8 crore 60 lakhs per hour. Her costly journey became the most-talked-about journey among the political circles.
Her journey to Chennai from Bengaluru is not less than a car chase scene in Bollywood. AMMK cadre has held a massive car rally with around 100 high-end cars.Sasikala received a massive welcome from the cadre. Fans showered flower petals on her convoy. She has reached Chennai after four long years.
Before reaching her residence, Sasikala had a stop at the residence of yesteryear superstar, former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MG Ramachandran. Chinnamma paid a floral tribute to him and garlanded his statue.
After completing her jail term in a corruption case, Sasikala was discharged from the Parappana Agrahara prison earlier in January 2021. Given her health condition, she was rushed to the Bengaluru Victoria Hospital. She underwent treatment for 10 days.
