The Man who was expelled by Jayalalithaa in 2011 becomes AIADMK Deputy General Secretary now. Dramatic turn of events since Amma's demise on December 5th last year continues to surprise the people across the World.
In 2011, Then Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa expelled Sasikala Natarajan's Husband M Natarajan, Nephew Dinakaran and her other relative Venkatesh for alleged interference in the party affairs and administration. The trio were even accused of conspiring to dethrone Jayalalithaa. After Sasikala expressed regret, Amma withdrew expulsion on Natarajan but not that of Dinakaran and Venkatesh.
Post the Supreme Court verdict on Tuesday, A Emergency Meeting chaired by Sasikala Natarajan took place at the Golden Bay resort to elect AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of Legislative Party. To everyone's shock, Sasikala re-inducted both Dinakaran and Venkatesh on Wednesday before surrounding in the trial court. The biggest shock came in the form of the appointment of Dinakaran as AIADMK's Deputy General Secretary.
