Satya Nadella Sells 30% Of His Microsoft Stock

Satya Nadella sold 328,000 Microsoft shares worth $35.9 million (Rs 248 crore) citing Personal Financial Planning as a reason. This happens to be his largest stock sale since he took over as the CEO in 2014. In 2016, The Tech Honcho sold $8.3 million worth of his stock in Microsoft.
Still, Satya Nadella owns as many as 778,596 common shares worth $85 million in Microsoft. In addition, He also have another 2.2 million different types of shares in the tech giant.
Bloomberg reports Satya Nadella have plans to sell some part of his Microsoft stock on a regular basis.
In 2017 Financial Year, Satya Nadella received $20 million in cash and stock as his pay package. Microsoft stock continued at all-time high and it became an $835 billion company under his leadership.
