King Salman arrived to Russia in a special flight equipped with a golden escalator. To his shock, The Golden Escalator stopped midway when he was about to get down from the flight. Salman had to walk down as there is no other option left in such situation.
For the first time ever, A Ruler of Saudi Arabia visited Russia. King Salman landed in Russia with an entourage of 1500 people. Two hotels have been completed booked in Russia for the four days visit. King's personal staff had replaced the hotel staff and strict instructions were passed not to permit any bookings during this period. Even furniture has been shifted from Saudi to Russia for this short trip. The hotel bill is expected to be around Rs 16 crore excluding the price for other services. In addition, A Plane travels from Riyadh to Moscow daily to supply 800 kg of food to the King and his Staff.
