Sensational: SC Approves Gay Sex!

The Supreme Court Today delivered a historic verdict on Section 377. A 5-judge Constitutional Bench legalized consensual sex between adults of same sex.
The bench headed by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra, Justices Fali Nariman, DY Chandrachud, Indu Malhotra and AM Khanwilkar declared homosexuality is no more a crime in India. This verdict was based on five petitions moved by Journalist Sunil Mehra, Dancer Navtej Jauhar, Chef Ritu Dalmia, Business Executive Ayesha Kapur and Hoteliers Aman Nath and Keshav Suri.
Supreme Court Judgement - Section 377:
Denial of right to sexual orientation is nothing but denial of right to privacy.
Sexual orientation is biological phenomenon, discrimination on this grounds is violation of fundamental rights.
Can't change history but can pave a better way for future. History owes an apology to the members of LGBT Community and their Families for the humiliation they faced due to society's ignorance that homosexuality is a natural trait.
Decriminalising Gay Sex is only the first step to bury the Colonial Ghost. It's time extend other constitutional rights as well to the LGBT community.
Section 377 of the IPC was more like a weapon to harass members of the LGBT community. Other aspects of Section 377 dealing with unnatural sex with animals and children will remain in force.
Homosexuality is not a mental disorder. Centre must publicize the SC judgment widely to eliminate stigma attached to LGBT community.
