Gates of School-run by Rajinikanth's Wife locked

Gates of the Ashram Matriculation School run by Rajinikanth's Wife and funded by Raghavendra Foundation were locked on Tuesday night for alleged non-payment of rent. Nearly 300 Students who study at the Ashram School in Guindy were stunned to see the gates locked Today morning.
Land Owner Venkateshvaralu says the land where Ashram School was located was given the Management in 2002 on rental basis. He, however, asked the Management to leave the premises as rents weren't paid on time.
Last year, Owner filed a law suit seeking payment of dues to the tune of Rs 10 crore and evacuation. Lawyer of Latha Rajinikanth informed they couldn't pay such huge amount and offered just Rs 2 crore. Thereafter, Neither any payment was made to the Owner nor Latha Rajinikanth has responded to the appeals.
Venkatshvaralu: 'I was unable to pay Service Tax of Rs 60,000 per Month. Last quarter, I paid it from my pocket. If they vacate, then I needn't pay any service tax'.
Latha Rajinikanth issued a statement appealing public not to believe any news being circulated about the Ashram School. She asked people to wait for the official press release which will be issued soon.
