Abiding the instruction issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Andhra Pradesh government decided to allow the schools across the state to reopen from November 2, i.e, Today.

The schools which were forced to shut for over seven months due to the deadly outbreak of the virus were permitted to resume its operations.

As the state government has decided to conduct the classes in a rotation manner, only the students of class 9th and 10th were asked to come to the schools, while only limited students were permitted.

Along with the schools, the junior colleges were also reopened in the state, while the classes will initially begin for the students of senior Intermediate.

It has been reported that going by the response received by senior Intermediate and Higher -class students the government will conduct classes for other students too, but in a phased manner.

It is believed that the classes for the first year inter students will be started from the third week of November, while classes for students of 6th to 8th standards are expected to start from the fourth week of November.

We must appreciate the efforts put in by the state government to conduct the classes for the students so that they will not lose the academic year 2020 21.

All the safety measures were followed strictly while reopening the educational institutions. All the schools were sanitized with disinfectant liquid thermal scanning set up was also arranged.

The government has directed all the students and teachers to compulsory wear face masks and follow physical distancing.
