Schools To Reopen From June?
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 May 2020 12:15 PM ISTFollowing the lockdown, all the educational institutions were forced to shut with the lockdown norms being active. As a result, students studying 1-9th classes were promoted to higher classes without final exams so that their academic year is not wasted.
With all the schools closed, almost all the schools started online classes so that students won't miss their classes and the topic was covered. There is no update on whether the academic year of 2010-11 will get commence or not.
It has been widely reported that the Ministry of Human Resource Development has taken a call on this and took some key decisions. The schools might operate in an odd-even way just like the way Delhi dealt with vehicles to fight air pollution.
If the odd-even system comes into active students will have to go to the schools for only three days so that the burden of the students can also be cut short. For the remaining three days they should have to attend classes online.
For providing the online classes, arrangements were being made as per some media reports. This might be a key step in the process of implementing Digital Education in India.
