12 Seats For T-TDP! Is This A New Low?

Until 2004, TDP Leadership used to have the confidence that it have strong leaders and solid cadre all over Telangana. By the time of 2009, It had to form alliance with TRS & Left Parties to offer a tough fight to Ruling Congress. In 2014, T-TDP formed alliance with BJP but contested in most of the seats. And now, It has come to the stage of accepting whatever seats Congress offers to prove its existence in Telangana. This is what Chandrababu Naidu conveyed to T-TDP Leaders during the recent meeting in Hyderabad.
If the reports are true, Telangana TDP had initially thought of contesting in 30-35 seats. However, The count was brought down to 19 seats realizing Congress willn't be ready to accept the proposal. Finally, Congress allotted just 12 seats as it's aware of the fact that TDP is fighting for existence and it's not in a position to quit Grand Alliance.
Accepting 12 Seats could be a new low for TDP. Why because, Telugu Desam managed to win 15 MLA Seats in 2014 Elections. Although T-TDP Leaders aren't pleased with 12 seats, Chandrababu Naidu is no way going to place any demands before Congress as the sole target has been AP Elections in 2019. TDP will fall to single digit in this election for sure. There is also a threat that it mayn't even open it's tally if few surveys are any indication.
