Chandrababu Plays Savior For Praja Kutami

Finally at long last, the Praja Kutami seat adjustment is almost coming to a closure. On Saturday night, several issues were thrashed and all parties have agreed to be accommodative because their main aim is to defeat the TRS. Even the Congress has adopted a conciliatory attitude and has decided to leave more seats for the alliance partners.
It has been decided to leave 9 seats to the Telangana Jana Samithi of Prof Kodandaram, 15 to the TdP and five to the CPI. The Congress will contest 91 seats.
Chandrababu, who was in Delhi, took the initiative and finalized the seat sharing. Chandrababu met the Congress leaders and has discussed the seat sharing with them. The leaders of all parties have decided to focus on how to defeat. The final list of the candidates is likely to be finalized in a couple of days.
There are still some hitches. For instance, TDP, which had won Qutbullahpur, LB Nagar, Jubilee Hills and Sanatnagar, wants these seats to the re-allocated to them. The Congress wants to contest from these seats. This issue is now being sorted out.
