The district of Warangal today is the hottest seat in Telangana. On Friday, the second most important leader in the Congress, Rahul Gandhi, is visiting Warangal to address a "rythu Sangharshana Sabha" (farmers struggle meet) . The Congress is pulling all stops to ensure that there is an unprecedented turnout for the meeting.
But, close on the heels of the Congress programme, the second most important leader in the TRS, party working president Rahul Gandhi, is set to visit Warangal. KTR is likely to focus on what Rahul Gandhi says in his meeting and then is likely to rebut him. KTR, a rabble-rousing speaker, is set to shred Rahul's comments and claims to smithereens.
Both the visits, coming barely within 48 hours, are likely to raise the political temperature in already-hot Warangal. While Rahul Gandhi is likely to attack the TRS on the issue of paddy procurement and the farm woes, KTR is likely to counter with his arguments. So, the people are eagerly waiting for the speeches of the two leaders.
